The ultimate planner.

That is the title I’m giving to the Mom On The Go Planner from In The Leafy Treetops.

I’ve been using their 2017 planner all year and loved it.

I loved it so much that I reached out to them to see if they’d like to send me the 2018 planner so I could share my review with all of you. And here it is in all its glory!

There’s something about writing things down that makes them stick for me.

Using notes and calendars on my phone just doesn’t do it for me.

Before I had this planner I had about 5 different notebooks that I used for keeping track of different things…and now I just have the planner.

It is a one-stop-shop for keeping my home organised and running smoothly.

So, what does it offer? Here are some of my favourite things:

5 Reasons This Is Hands Down The Best Planner For Moms || If you're on the hunt for a planner that literally does it all and is perfect for moms, then this one has you covered! Read this post to find out why. #planner #paperplanner #organising #motherhood #parenting #floral #quotes

1) It Is Customisable

This planner does all the work for you but leaves room for you to customise it to suit your needs. There are blank boxes and note spaces galore!

Whether you’re a sticker-lovin’ planner, someone who loves to use your planner to practice your calligraphy skills, or more of a plain Jane like myself, this planner gives you the option to make it work for you.

One of the things that differs from last years planner is that they have labelled the ‘notes’ page.

I love this as it gives me a jumping off point and then I can do the rest. There’s no pressure to have it looking a certain way, nor is it restricting as far as what information you can put in it.

2) It Gives You Different Views

I love that I can view things both monthly and then week by week.

It appeals to the macro and micro planner in me. 🙂

There are actually 3 different ways of viewing your weeks. I use them all to some extent and for different purposes.

I like using the monthly calendar for things like birthdays and big events. However, I use the conventional week-by-week view the most. This is where I list my daily tasks and to-do lists.

My meals for the week are also able to be easily inserted at the bottom of the page as well.

I use the listed month view for blogging purposes. It allows me to write out all my blog posts for the month and then I insert them into the week-by-week view as time goes on.

It helps me to keep things looking less cluttered and for jobs and events to not be passed over.

Honestly, it is stunning. Every page is fitted out with care and brilliant design.

The paper quality has been improved and it feels like quality to the touch.

I’m not sure about you, but as a mother, I love it when things are both pretty and practical (hence the tagline of my blog!).

So much of motherhood is plain hard work. There are duties (hello diapers!) that are just messy and not fun.

It is so lovely to be able to inject something aesthetically pleasing into my everyday routine that not only helps me to better serve my household but gives me an amount of pleasure myself.

One of my favourite things about the planner are the quotes that they have throughout.

If you’re subscribed to my newsletter (sign up HERE), you probably know how much I love quotes in general.

As a busy mom, it’s so nice to have just a small snippet of encouragement to be able to remember.

The quotes in this planner are so tastefully chosen and stunningly designed. I’ve actually considered framing them once I’ve finished with the planner for the year.

4) It Focuses On The Family

This planner has a big emphasis on serving and caring for your family.

I love that there are detailed pages for planning holidays and events, as well as an entire section dedicated to home and family.

There’s even a section at the back where you can customise a two-page spread for each member of your household.

There’s room to plan birthdays, mark down clothing and shoe sizes, and to list favourites and preferences.

And there’s a section for your marriage. A place to plan dates and times with your significant other. In all honesty, I’m not sure there’s much that the designers of this planner haven’t thought to include.

It’s literally a place to simply brain dump everything so that you can keep your mind less cluttered.

And as a mother, that is a HUGE asset to have! I’m always thankful to have one less thing to think about.

5) It Has Accessories!

This is something I didn’t have last year and I’m so pleased that the folks from In The Leafy Treetops sent me a bookmark and pen holder.

They are both sturdy and good quality as well as being practical and pretty!

Plus, the covers are interchangeable!

I love this because it means that for a very affordable price you can switch up your planner throughout the year based on seasons, or just personal preference.

They are always coming out with new designs, which is even more exciting! The possibilities are endless!

My planner gets well used and is often picked up by curious little hands that really shouldn’t be touching it.

However, the cover is such good quality that it is able to withstand fidgeting toddler hands, and is easily cleaned if it does get soiled in any way.

So, if you’re looking for a do-it-all planner then this is it.

I use it for general planning, meal planning, blog planning, Christmas gift tracking, etc, etc, etc. I have yet to find any other planner that so perfectly meets my needs and my budget.

If you’re sold and can’t wait to get your hands on it then I have a coupon code for you!

Use the code keys5 and when you make a purchase of $39.98 you can get $4.99 off your order.

Essentially, that means if you add a planner and accessory, you’ll get the accessory for free!

With all that said, do you use a planner? If so, which one? Let me know in the comments below.
