We’re here! It is the last week of June. Some may dislike that we’re so far through the year, but I love it because it means Christmas is getting closer…and Christmas is my favourite! For the sake of today’s post though, let me chat to you about our theme for this month. Relaxation. It can be hard to come by as a mama. I think as mamas it is often difficult to find the time (and energy) to get out the house to pamper ourselves. Nevermind that it often isn’t financially possible either.
My suggestion is to find ways you can pamper yourself when you’re still at home. This face mask is a perfect example. It is quick, easy, and won’t break the bank.
1 Tbsp Coffee
1 Tbsp Honey
You simply mix it all together and voila! You have yourself a face mask that will help to cleanse your skin, reduce puffiness around your eyes, exfoliate, AND help to shrink your pores. That’s pretty good value right there, huh?! 🙂
If you’re looking for other ways to pamper yourself, then here are a few ideas:
- Give yourself a gel manicure (your nails look gorgeous and it lasts for ages!)
- Read a good book
- Watch a TV series or movie. I currently love this and this.
Ultimately, do something that helps you to relax. You will be a better mama for it.
